Who we are
Cape Creatives is an interior fit-out and joinery contractor based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use capecreatives.ae, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us. When you complete a quote or contact form we receive the name, email address, telephone number, project location, service interest, indicative budget and message you enter.
- Consultation and site-visit requests. If you ask us to call you back or to schedule a meeting, we keep the contact details and times you give us.
- Client cabinet access. Clients with a live project receive access to the customer cabinet. We store the account details needed to sign you in and the project documents shared with you there.
- Technical data. Like most websites we log the IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring address of visitors, and we measure aggregate traffic with analytics.
- Communications. Emails, WhatsApp messages and notes of telephone calls relating to your enquiry or project.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation or proposal.
- To schedule and carry out site surveys, design work, fit-out and joinery works under a contract with you.
- To keep project, accounting and warranty records and to meet our legal obligations.
- To understand which pages and services people look for, so we can improve the site and our service.
- To keep you informed about the project you have engaged us for.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use enquiry or project information for third-party advertising.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage keys. Essential ones keep the site working and secure and let our page cache serve pages quickly; they do not identify you personally. Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) and Ahrefs Web Analytics tell us how many people visit which pages and roughly where they came from, in aggregate.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop you using the site or contacting us.
Who we share it with
- Our hosting and infrastructure provider, Hostinger, which stores the site and its backups.
- Analytics providers, Google and Ahrefs, as described above.
- Form and scheduling tools used to receive enquiries and appointments (WPForms and LatePoint), which deliver submissions to our own mailboxes.
- Professional advisers, subcontractors and suppliers, but only where that is necessary to deliver a project you have engaged us for.
- Public authorities, where UAE law requires us to disclose information.
Some providers process data on servers outside the UAE. Where that happens we rely on the providers’ standard contractual protections for international transfers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months.
- Project, contract, invoice and warranty records: up to 10 years after completion, as required for accounting and defects-liability purposes.
- Aggregate analytics data: up to 26 months.
Your rights
Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and where it applies to you the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you may ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you and provide a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete data we no longer need for the purpose it was collected for;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw a consent you previously gave.
Write to info@capecreatives.ae with “Data request” in the subject line and tell us which project or enquiry it concerns. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the UAE Data Office, or to your national supervisory authority in the EU/EEA or the UK.
Security
Access to enquiry and project data is limited to the staff and contractors who need it to do their work. The site is served over HTTPS, administrative access is password protected and the site software is kept up to date. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the general contact form.
Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Links to other services
Some buttons on this site open third-party services, for example a WhatsApp chat or a Google Maps location. Once you leave capecreatives.ae, the privacy terms of that provider apply.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our tools or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top always shows the version in force.
